Impressive What was attached to the other end of quad when you pulled them out a tractor with tracks or dozer?

That's the same thing I thought - why venture into muck like that?

Dave I thought Quad (4 wheeler) too - but this is the Quad lutt likely refers too, or something similar.

I have a friend who is a trucker. He always calls cars and trucks four wheelers. So I guess it is according to where you are coming from.

Sorry guys, the quad I was referring to is our case quadtrac tractor with wide tracks! I will get some pics when I get home. Far as why any would be out there in the mud, it's a rice farming thing, we roll our rice stubble down with water on the fields, usually, tractors go better in the mud with water on the surface, sheds the mud, our type of mud or muck as we call has stages, it will make your tires get bigger cause it's so sticky, we are slowly converting to tracks on our equipment, because our type of ground is so spongy, the grain cart on my avatar is one piece, and so is our case combine, I'll get pics up when I can!

It makes sense now that we know it's a rice farm. One of those big tractors will do the work of a thousand Chinese. That might be why we produce rice more efficiently than anyone else in the world.

Yeah, I should had been a little more clear, I forget sometimes everyone in the country and world views these! Lol! Also proud that Arkansas is one of the top rice producers, most years it is!
