Thanks. It was my first time to newyork my different than I expected. Although we were in the foothills of the adirondack mountains. It was very beautiful. Most of these photos are HDR images shot with an old canon DSLR

Folks who have only visited NYC have no idea how nice it is in rural NY.

Ditto New Jersey. Stay away from the awful cities and shorelines and it's some of the most beautiful countryside you'll ever see. Also, the New Yawk & Joisey accents are ONLY found in the urban areas, everybody else speaks plain old standard English.

I have to admit to thinking New York state as being the same as New York City. Thanks for showing such dramatic scenery! BTW i have no problem with NYC either, but Wow nice country side too.

The replacement glass is inexpensive, but you have to take the entire phone apart to get in in.
Check youtube for the means and methods. I think the glass is about 10$ or less

Yes sir, you are correct. I'm not scared to take one apart, I've replaced the battery in a couple. (Very simple)

I went the easy route and bought the front as a whole with a credit for my good parts, ie camera, speaker, display, ect. because the local Radio Shack had them refurbished in stock.

It dropped out when I opened the door... Twice. Second time it wasn't fast enough to scoot out of the way quickly enough.

A while back one of our baby monitors suffered a similar fate with my M8540 I was amazed it still worked just like your phone
