I went down to the pond at lunchtime today. All I caught was a picture of this lily pad in bloom.

I saw where one had laid it's eggs a few weeks ago, but haven't seen a turtle itself. It has been holding water for a couple of years this time, but I very rarely get down there. My cousin stocked it with bass, catfish, bream and shiners last summer. It is so grown up you have to use weedless hooks though. Maybe a live bait might be the way to go with the catfish and bass.
