Smelly Situation

I had a Samoyed (large and white) that got hit by a skunk. Trying the tomato bath just gave me a very large pink smelly dog.

I know this thread is a bit aged, but I'm trying Harv's vinegar trick at this very moment. The skunk smell in the house is making me sick to my stomach.

It all started when a skunk began eating cat food in our garage every day. I decided that this would not do as I have small children. So, I decided to shoot him with a pellet rifle in the back of the neck. Well, it shocked him and he took off under the deck. Now he does'nt come out but he lets off a bomb every two or three days. We have six cats and they are probably bugg'n the skunk. I'm going to throw some moth balls under there tomorrow. I've heard that keeps them away.

I would love to cut him in half with my FEL. Is that wrong ?/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

After the 3rd event at 3 in the morning, I installed a double handled shower valve in the cellar, 18" back from the foundation, extended the calve rods thru the wall, and hooked up the plumbing. Naturally, the wife decided I was completely nuts (nothing new). A month or so later, I got to try my installation, and I assure you nice warm water for deskunking a canine definitely makes the chore less of a pain in the #$$. Massengil douche works very well too, learned it from a professional groomer.
3 years later, the wife has decided it's convenient to have hot & cold running water outside for her various chores. She still thinks I'm nuth though.
