My "new-to-me" 20+ year old NH 451 9' sickle mower is perfect for cutting around our lake ... much easier and faster than a weed-whacker or a rotary mower, even when taking into consideration the time to attach it. I noticed that I have one blade coming loose and will need to secure it or, more likely, replace it. Tending to be time-deficient/project-abundant, I looked on-line for tips on replacing blades and saw the Smith Tool Rivet Tool, which purports to allow a user to not only remove the rivets to take off a blade, but also install the rivets to put a new blade on ... all done without removing the bar.
Yes, it's pricey, but it looks like a time saver.
Is it too good to be true?
Does anyone have experience with the tool?
Thanks in advance!
