Coming home from my sister/B&L's house Memorial Day; (after a low country boil) driving through downtown Atlanta and saw a dark blue City of Atlanta Police Dept IH 4300 truck; flatbed w/stake sides, and towing an equipment trailer, also painted the dark blue with Atlanta PD markings. The truck had a strobe type visibar on roof, blue strobes at all 4 corners and at mid body sides. Trailer had strobes at top of each fender, and 2 at rearmost corners, but I remembered this thread as I looked at the mudflaps; as both the truck and trailer had SMV emblems mounted on each flap. What cargo was this truck/trailer combo transporting? Three or four file cabinets, two desks, and a couple of chairs. They probably had no idea what purpose the SMV emblem actually serves.
