How many people would want to handle a tractor doing 30 MPH let alone 25 pulling something behind...talk about maybe being all over the road. They'd have to put warning triangle front and rear.

They seem to just have a suggestion about adding a SPEED INDICATION SIGN to the rear of the tractor and any implement that it tows...![]()
The State of Ohio has been more aggressive than most of the rest of the country in its lighting requirements for ag equipment. NY has new lighting laws in effect as of 1/1/09. Make it your business to be legal in your state. It will make a difference if you are involved in a rear impact incident. The recommendations of a committee are meaningless in terms of inforcement; it's the laws that must be adhered to.

I hope this guy got a ticket for having a Driveway/Mailbox marker on his tractor. Ain't that illegal??
What is the lighting requirements that just passed ? I haven't heard of anything.
He probably ran off the road dodging the postman who was simply zeroing in on the mailbox marker...
