Sad story . But I find it hard to blame the snake. . Any Parents that have a small Child have no buisness with any type of wild reptile or animal & should be punished with Child endangerment at best IMO . Bob

NP, I just noticed when I scrolled down . Heres a link with a pic of the Snake. I just dont understand why someone would have something like this in a home with any small children, let alone a baby. Bob

Snake is just a critter, like a dog or cat. If the owner/parent doesn't do their job, it can be dangerous.

I don't fault them for keeping a snake as a pet with a baby in the house. I fault them for not being RESPONSIBLE parents and making sure that the pet(s) and child are safe from one another.

I think one statement in that article said it all, "it's not the snakes fault but it is humans !!!"

Of course the snake will be put to death like other animals when they attack but the moron humans will keep on making more babies. Sorry to sound so negative but MOST of the time{not allways} it is human error or just plain stupidity.

These grown "people" new they had a creature capable of killing small animals. They new they had a small child in a room without protection. They also obviously did not have proper caging in place for the snake. Everybody can point all the fingers they want, BUT make sure you point them fingers in the right direction,.,.,.,. in this case the adult owners and parent!!!!!!

Read about it in the paper this morning, just awful. Sounds like the plot of some horror movie. I just don't see the appeal of having such an animal as a pet. What a terrible story.
