They had already Broke the law , as Pine had pointed out by even having the snake. no need for more laws then We allready have more then enough .

Other then maybe make parents take a training coarse in proper parenting before they are even allowed to have kids these days since You cant teach them common sense obviously . Bob

Very sad to hear.

I seen this on the news yesterday, and they said the father didn't have a permit to have the snake in that state, and the cage didn't have a lock on it....So no one else to blame but the father for doing a stupid thing, but it's a good thing that he will be charged.

Horrible tragedy. I blame the mom and especially the shackup boyfriend (he's not the dad), both of them.

I have a 21 month old that gets into EVERYTHING. Needless to say, all of my guns are locked up. (Please don't tell the bad guys.)

PS. Swimming pools don't slither up in the middle of the night and choke you to death while you are sleeping. Nuff said.

The guy that owned the snakes was the boyfriend of the mother of the children. There was another snake , a boa, in the house also. The top of the cages had a fabric cover. This guy has been in lots of trouble before concerning drugs, etc. I believe he had also lost a child several years age due to some medical reason. .

Maybe they'll give this guy the death penalty, ooops forgot this is America. They'll probably give him a new ID and a nice place to live. Justice will not be served on this issue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
