Snake Oil?

Not too long ago, I saw a clip on the local news about a man who had modified what looked like a chipper to compress leaves and glue made from flour into cylindrical loafs about 6" in diameter and a little over a foot long. I can't remember much more as I caught the end of it, but he claimed they burned well. It seemed pretty neat, but looked like a lot of work. I doubt it's him though, as he is in PA and this company is in OR.

Over 30 years ago, I (as well as many others) bought a gadget to roll old newspapers tightly together, then you soaked them in water, let them dry, and had artificial fireplace logs. It "sorta" worked, but not well enough to ever do it again.:D

Good Mornin Gbeck,
I always felt that your best snake oil could be found at used car lots ! ;) But it looks like you found another source ! :)

That has got to be the old rolling newspapers scam. What else could it be. Fits perfectly with the advertising on that site. Sucker born every minute.
