I just bought a used Snap On FBF936 flex head ratchet 3/8" drive on ebay. My other flex head ratchets have stops at different positions the Snap On does not. I guess the question is, Is how freely should the head move? It is a nice ratchet.

I have one with a lock and one just like yours. You can tighten up the head to whatever you prefer with the torx bolt at the base. Mine works loose and has to be tightened up a bit every so often.

I put blue loctite on the screw and tighten it. Usually have to re-do it every six months. But I turn wrenches for a living and it gets used everyday.
