Anyone know anything about a Du-al 110? I snapped the piston when the Clevis pin snapped at full extension.
I can remove the cylinder but am hoping someone had schematics/parts list. Woods is of no help.

Thank you!

www.newholland.com -> agriculture (tractor) (newholland = ford)
it a pain to get to the parts (multi clicks) to get to the free online part diagrams but they have them

The du-al is aftermarket and they were bought by woods. Woods does not have anything, though I can get a cylinder rebuild kit for $80! :/

Most cylinder repair shops would rebuild that to better than new condition for one third the price of a new one.

Those bucket cylinders are at a huge disadvantage when fully extended. That's why the user's literature for loaders recommends a flat bucket when back dragging.

sounds like lawyer speak. flat bucket back dragging *meh*....

cutting edge down and uncurled to point cutting edge is pointing at tractor or straight down. front wheels off the ground eventually and away i go.

if they offered a "tail gate" something like some of the box blades. when you pulling forward rear blade hinges up. and when you go backwards / back drag. the tail gate with rear blade on it closes and begins cutting in. then i would be game. other wise most buckets i see / have used, all have "curved" bottoms (opposite side of cutting edge), even if bucket is "square shaped with nice 90 degree corner. it doesn't do squat. beyond act like a ski that slides over everything. and on some funky buckets manufacture botched up bigger, by having some bracket or bracing on bottom side or back corner of bucket.

for me cutting edge gets pointed were it needs to.

This is the main arm/lift cylinder. Not the bucket :(
I'll take some measurements, of course all of our local hydraulic shops are closed on Sat.

Should I take both off and have both rebuilt? I'm concerned if they reweld the length will not match the other side and cause binding or worse.

Maybe I am missing something here but if the end just snapped off the rod why not remove both and with the cylinder fully extended weld the end back on.
