Snow and rain to Mud!

We are all froze up here now so I can plow across the yard (dogs need their spot). It is really going to get cold Fri and Sat...(-35 wind chill).....Brrrr.

Yea froze up bitter cold and snow, now freezing rain with heavy rain forecast tonight with a temp tomorrow at 10 AM in the upper 40's then heading back down for a mid to low 20's for Fridays hi and teens for Saturdays hi.
Just finished putting the chained up tires on the rear of the sander truck, driveway just coated with wet ice.
Take a short break and go load the sander and sand the driveway so my wife can make it up the driveway.
Then do something I almost never do, I'm going to reload the sander before I park it.
That way I shouldn't need it in the morning :laughing:

I have the same issue on my uphill from the house driveway and parked wife's and daughter's cars at the top last night.
Now I need to thaw my sand buckets out so I can get my car out.

We got enough rain that where I had sanded most of the ice was gone, still some in places.
Now I have to decide what to do with the load of sand in the sander, probably uncover the sandpile if it stops
raining and run it off, push it back in good and recover the pile.
Drove down and back up the driveway this morning with the tractor thats chained up, lots ofice chips in places.

Here in SE PA since last spring if it isn't raining...its raining...
