Tractor
Kubota
Hey guys- looking at a new CUT to handle snow blowing at the cabin, 75 yards long with a push to left and right (200-300 yearly). Then head over to the deer land and keep up on brush mowing a total of 30 acres total once a year, meaning we just want to keep the woods pushed back in spots. Mow/Disc and overseed for deer plots (Maybe 20 acres on 240 acres) , some firewood and I知 sure loader work. So started on a B2650 cab but I think it痴 not enough tractor, I looked a JD 3033r, Kubota L3560 and a KIOTI CK3510SE all with factory cabs . The KIOTI came in at the same cost as the B2650 but lined up capability wise with the 3033R and L3560 which were 10k and 8k more.... or am I missing something? I don稚 want to underbuy but this is hobby at a place 3 hours from home so it痴 tough to justify to the better half how to fund this.....

Be ready for "Have you checked out ..."

I'll start it off. If you have a dealer close by, check out LS. Either the XR31 or the XR41 (my suggestion) series. Drastically increased capacity (loader lift and overall weight) with a slightly larger frame.

When I priced things out about 4 months ago, the LS was $7-8k cheaper than a comparably spec'ed Kubota or Deere, and it had higher weight and greater loader lifting capacity (important for me, sounds like it may not matter for you). However, Kubota was running a VERY good deal on the Kubota L3560SE, which is the 3560 with a few niceties removed.

I did look at the LS XR35 and it was real close in cost to the kioti and I thought very similar in capabilities or no? I honestly just didn稚 like the cab layout as much on the LS....

It's a very personal thing. Sit on a bunch and find what works for you. From the first time I sat on the LS, it felt best to me, but I'm not you.

The Kioti and LS were similarly priced when I looked too. For me, it came down to dealer, and that I could fit the XR4145HC in my garage, whereas the DK series Kioti was a couple inches too high.

Just a pair of old gassers at the farm, I couldn稚 even tell you what they are... the snow removal is new and just wanting to expand what we do at the farm.

I am happy with my Kioti but any of the brands mentioned would be fine. It is more about what you are comfortable in and dealer support.

The L3560 is way more tractor than a B2650 and sounds about what you need for that snow fall;may even want to look at a L4060.
The Grand L's with the HST+ are awesome ;lots of standard features that you will appreciate down the road.

I agree it逞エ an awesome rig but I遏・ trying to figure out how it逞エ $8k more that the LS XR35 or kioti ck3510? I guess I知 looking at the basics, HP for Brush hog/rear blower, loader capacity, even ground engagement stuff like a disc or single bottom plow. As a first timer what am I missing?
