Can anyone suggest the best way to use the front loader on my JD2305 to do the driveway (about 1800 feet long) without damaging the asphalt?

I just finished plowing mine and two neighbors drives yesterday afternoon. Took about 3 hours with BX1500, rear blade and FEL. This snow ice combo takes forever. I put the FEL in float and ran right down the asphalt. The loaders on these SCUTs and small CUTs I don't think are really heavy enough to do any damage to the driveway if your take you time. If the snow were lighter, I would simply put it on the ground then start driving. When the trator stops, get a bucket load and move it to one side. Once you have then first path, you can star working your way back pushin the snow diagonally to the side.

I love my HST for this.

Well, we got 32" of snow at my house. Crazy! Cold as heck. I spent abount 4 hrs yesterday, and about 2 hrs today on the "Big Green Sexy" w/ backblade and FEL. Lots of seat time, but cold seat time. Brrrrrrrrr.
