Thavil-
Well, we got a good 5-6." We haven't gotten that much snow in a few years, and it does it in March. The power was out most of today because of it.

Kyle, sounds like you were just west of the brunt - I'm about 15 miles southeast of you and we got 10". I'm curious what Thavil ended up with,
Today was my first go at moving snow. After almost two years of reading here about chains, how R4s don't do well, etc, I was pretty leary. My driveway is relatively flat, couple of gradual slopes, but if it breaks free, I have a 50-60' hill at 30-35 degrees I'm into. Well the R4s held up fine, not much ice, so I went to do the neighbor's driveway (single mom, young kids - my wife insisted!
Not saying chains aren't necessary - It was in the 20's and I worried about the thin layer of packed snow left after my first pass. I kept waiting for the "breakaway" but it never came.
I was calling neighbors to see if they needed theirs done - but I was too slow. Got they hang of it towards the end - unfortunately have to wait till next year i reckon....
