Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Snow Is Coming!!!

Got about 15 inches sofar and still snowing they say till about midnite, just got done blowing off the drive, Got to talk to mama about a cab. Looked like my bota and i were painted white.

Got about 5 inches overnight here in Buffalo, NY. Supposed to get about 1-2 inches though the day. I was hoping for more but it took me till about lunch to get everything cleaned out (this included a long talk with a neighbor). I plow 2, sometimes three driveways, 2 blocks of sidewalk, in front of two garages, and 2 parking lots. Had a breakdown for a short time (electrical problem) and also had to get a jump, but it works now. My Leatherman tool saved the day though cause I took the toolbox off to make room for the plow lift and haven't found a another place to put it yet. I'll have to get a picture of me and my machine in action sometime.

Got about 6 inches overnight. Suppose to warm up and melt over the next couple of days. Out on the west coast the snow is often wet and this stuff was.

Here in NW Oregon we got about 1-2" last night but then the rain came and washed all the snow away. Staying in the 50s all week now. No snow storm this winter.

Got about 5in overnight, plowed this AM, went to work, came home and had another 5 inches. Plowed again, took about an hour and by the time I was done another inch had fallen. Supposed to snow through Thu with lake effect so I don't know what we'll have by AM, but my windrows are maxed out in the pasture aisles so I'll have to throw on the blower and blow the banks over the pasture fence. (probably 500 feet of pathway I keep open to 10 foot width). Not a bad job if the wind cooperates. Boy would a cab be nice!!

We got about 5" yesterday with another 1-2" today. Some areas just north of me 20 miles got a additional 12" today. The wind has been blowing 30 plus so I have plowed everything 2-3 times. More on the way this weekend starting Friday Night continuing though Monday.

Anyway for my home we are already over 36" this winter. I am not sure what the average is but that has to be close. We usually get one good 10" or so snow with a 16" to 20" snow about every 4 years or so. We also get most of our snow from New Years to March Madness. We had 24" by Christmas which is very unusual. We are usually only at about the 6" mark by that point.
