Here it is! About 10", with a couple more possible later today. I plowed for about 3 hours this morning (mine, mom's, neighbors'). Glad I put the chains back on! This stuff is wet and heavy.

Last Saturday, I ALMOST took off the blower to put the bucket on to remove "the last few piles" of snow that had built up.... then thought, "Well, maybe not...."

We didn't get nearly as much up here as some southern locales did, but about 5-6" of dense stuff, and now it's about 7 degrees and the wind's still whipping by outside. I think I'm just going to pack this batch down!

teach-- I still feel guilty, however, concerning the jinx... I have to admit I did start up my ol' CB360 Sunday!:(

I put the jinx on myself .I was looking at the thread About pics on moving snow and made a comment in a thread about living in the NE. for 20 yrs. and not having to put up with that white crap any more Welp sure enough that eve. we got I mean pounded with a hail storm Solid 10 Min. the smallest size of golf balls to cue ball size.It sounded like a war zone!I've been in a few hail storms down here but nothing even compared to this one.Thank goodness the only damage was the lenses on my security lights were Knocked out.I guess that was ole mother nature letting me know who the boss.No B/S.

If you have asphault/fiberglass shingles on your roof you may want to check them for damage. We had a hail storm here last spring. I didnt notice them at first and I happened to get up on the roof and looked in the gutter and noticed the aggregate in the gutter and the roof looked like someone had taken a hammer to it. I decided to replace it with a metal roof. After they inspectit insurance said that it would be covered under my homeowners policy. The damaged shingles were 40 year laminated shingles in about their 10th year. I only mention it so you dont end up paying for it out of pocket. Now back to the subject.

Thanks Randall hows it going. No damage to the roof. When I built the house I had a Dimenstional roof installed basicly thicker shingles and I believe it just paid for the extra cost.
