Here's a picture of me moving snow on my JD 2025R.

This snow's too deep for the back blade. About the 3rd time I could have used a good snow plow or snow blower. Not sure it would push a very big snow plow in this stuff.

Maybe I should have kept my Gravely and its square chute snow blower for stuff like this.

I would agree with your assessment. I've got a John Deere 325 garden tractor with a 42" snowblower. I've also have a LS R3039H with loader and 6' box blade. The blower is much more efficient. I've got a pretty big area to clean out and I can usually do it with the blower in about 45 minutes. The LS takes roughly twice the time.

So, if I'm short of time, the garden tractor is the tool of choice. If I have time and want to play...eer get some work done with the bigger tractor, I'll choose it. Either way, there will be a smile on my face and not a care in the world while I'm in either seat!
