snow plow FEL protection

I had been plowing with my converted truck plow on my tractor for several years;just blew something on my hydraulics near the third function valve.Don't know if a cross over relief would have helped or not, the side that caught was the retracted cylinder.
Either way I just ordered one from Kenny D and fittings from Surplus Center.Not a good time to be without my tractor;dealer to pick up Monday.
