Looks like a good idea;my thoughts if I did this I would only do one side,some times you want the snow to roll off(roadways ect.)

When I added the wings they were angled so that the snow still rolls off the end of the blade when angled. The added benefit is when it's angled the outer edge helps hold the snow in so you can take a larger cut with creating windrows. I also have a hydraulic angle blade which makes life easier.
