Marcus,

It looks GREAT! Good job getting it all together so quickly. Don't wait too long to get those hydraulic hoses run. What does the front end feel like after driving around with it? Do I see skid shoes in your future?

Great build and documentation, well done.

The front end doesn't feel heavy at all, but I have loaded tires and a 600lb boxblade on the back =]

Marcus,
Very nice job! ! I was wondering what will control your power angle cylinders. Will they work from the loader control or will you need to add another controller? I just finished building a frame to mount my back blade on the loader arms but am now considering mounting an old plow blade with hydraulic cylinders to angle the blade instead.

I was wondering about the hydraulics too. You only need one SCV to control both cylinders right? And do you convert the cylinders to single-acting or do you plumb the outlet side of one to the inlet side of the other?

Thanks

When I purchased the tractor, I had them add two rear remotes.

One is currently used for a tiplink cylinder and the other will be used for either the snow plow or grapple, depending on the season.

The attached picture shows the lever that controls the remotes. In the picture there is only one remote, my tractor has a second one beside it.

The blade will be controlled by a single lever and plumbed so that one cylinder retracts, while the other extends.

The hardest part of the design was to make the cylinders trigger bypass at exactly the same time. Otherwise, one would hit its limit and the other will still be pushing. I would imagine those cylinders have the power to bend the material I used it I allowed that to happen.

Excellent Job and great pics! That blade looks like it might be handy for other uses too. Keep up the good work.

Zinno,

The cylinders will remain double acting.

i was wondering where you got the hydraulic cylinders from and what is the stroke of them?

thanks
