With a 300' drive and a 50' by 50' parking pad, even a manually rotated blade would be OK...not that much work involved.

Take a peek at a fresh coat of green paint on a 20 yr old blade, one new spring and new skid feet. 20mile drive for me 200 for you. He will take $400 cash. He go a deal on a new used taller plow, snow plow set for a deere with cyl. I trust your experience should I stick one winter with my bucket and 7' back blade or jump on this plow made from a heavy rear 3pt. blade? The availablity of old truck snow plows is enormous. $200. to 700 gets a low of old solid plow. ----Fuseboxer

I trust your opinion inclosed is a picture of a quick connect 6' blade that I can buy for $400. Seller got a very good deal on a taller snow blade set for a quick connect on a deere loader and has hydraulic control possibilities. ----Fusboxer

I see the pivot point just behind the blade...do you know if it has pins for angling the blade?
Since it's only 20 miles from you, I'd definitely suggest you take a look at it...if it was 20 miles from me, I would.
Hydraulic angling would be nice...but for the most part, you'd angle it to the right for most of your plowing. If you plan on doing more then just your own drive/parking pad, hydraulics would be more important.

BTW, since you're in Michigan, and I assume this plow is in Michigan, it'd be more like a 500-600 mile run for me.

Hard to tell if it angles from the picture. If it doesn't then its usefulness is going to be rather limited.

It was a heavy large rear 3pt tractor blade it angles and holds with a pin. No dought it probably is better that use of my 300cx box tipped slightly up in the front. But that allows me to lift snow and move it away from the drive the blade does not. I will use a 7' rear blade regardless what is in front. A very experienced tractor man that supplies most or many tractor dealers in Michigan fell in love with a 7' rear blade that has a cam it rocks offset about 12". He swears it is the cats meow when use with an angled front blade. He has many tractors and equipment and my bet is he has R1 ag tires on his 4WD. ----Fuseboxer
