snow plow

as requested here are the details of the plow i rebuilt. the plow was originaly on a ford dexta i use to have it was 30" tall & 7' wide with a sub frame weighed a ton. traded the ford for my kioti lk3054. i cut the plow down to 6'. made a push frame & a mounting frame on the tractor that is tied into the loader sub frame. the frame stays on the tractor & doesnt interfear with the loader. pull 4 pins & the whole unit comes off. i then built brackets & added angle cylinders. i am thinking of getting a new double acting lift cylinder & eliminate the chain & lift arm since i can use the float on my loader valve. then i can finally paint it this summer.

Up my way (north of Montreal) that drool would be iceicles!
I have snow banks that are 7 ft high!

My poor lil MT180D has a tough time piling it that high and now all my 'holes' are filled so I dread another storm.
All the roads are lined with 5 and 6 ft high banks.

I also add my compliments to the plow installation.
Bet it works real good!

Here's a shot of my almost completed rear blade for the FARMNOUGHT.It pulls snow well and I can lift that monster of a cynlinder off and swing her round 180 degrees to push.Got to use it on (hopefully) the last snow of the season...this week we'll try her on gravel..
