What tires are you running?
Are you pleased with them?

I went with BKT Ridemax and am pleased with them this winter so far.
I am running Nokians. Very expensive but probably one of the best snow tires. Snow is all this tractor does so tires are important.

Posting a couple pics of snow for the folks that want to see some. I do 70 driveways all winter and have been in each of them 40 times so far this year. We have another 1-2 feet coming by Monday. We had an 80 inch storm last month. Mother nature can take a break any time now.

Hey I think I've seen you on your YouTube channel 👍
Am I right?
Here in Maine we've had a sleeper snow winter. Plenty cold but dry. The little snow are accumulating and we got a wopping 8" Saturday night. 😆

That's a lot of driveways! We get practically no snow compared to what you deal with, and 15 driveways is enough for me.
I have been thinking about a pull type blower like you have. It would be ideal for the driveways I do.

Yup I have a youtube channel. I do not do much with it. Generally all I get told is I should get a different blower. Like you guys I use what I have. Mine is great for what I do and can go into the deep but not as well as some others. I kind of wanted to show another side of what the blower can do. I guess I would call it fear of change for most. There was one day in the storm I did 70 driveways 3 times. I am 65 years old and do not recover like I use to. I was tired that day. The larger tractor is more for me than the blower. Larger is more comfortable. Drains me less. I will say out of all the tractors I have had the m6 was the worst for traction driving down the road I have ever been in. Terrible. Those Nokians are not on the because I wanted them. Scary ride without them. Now it is like it is on rails.

No one asked but I will tell you a little of the advantages of a hybrid pull type blower in a driveway.
I can back up to a garage door and set it down with no snow build up.
I can see where I am setting it down not like a front mount
I leave no snow at the garage door like a back up blower
I pull into the road and leave no snow. The beauty of the hybrid style.
I believe a pull blower follows the tractor better than a backup blower. What I mean is if the driveway is uneven the pull type rides on it better. Like go over a curb
I do not see any disadvantages of driving over it first like everyone thinks. I also have a 1900 pound blower so a lighter one may be an issue I do not know
I think of this blower as a box blade with an auger in it. How fast can you tow it?
I can do a driveway in 60 seconds if I want to push it. Generally I am not into the speed as much as quality. I take 90 second as one of my videos shows.
I found on youtube that the folks on the porch all new far more than me. I did not realize how little I knew.
I think a hybrid blower is awesome but not cheap. Lot of factors to consider. Mine is over 12k American.

Hopefully for the folks considering any type of blower do not rule out a pull type. I hear it all the time. I cannot go in 2 feet of snow. I say two things to that. My video proved otherwise and if I am in 2' of snow I have been fired. I blow with the storm. The video I did was of a place that had been done by a truck and smaller tractor until neither could get through anymore. Tractor had a front mount. Both have their place. I will find it and post below.

I have both the older more 3 point conventional blower as well as my pull type. I much prefer the pull type, I used mine in 36-40 inches of snow one time, that was the only time I had to drop down into the "A" (low) range of my tractor. I did have to back up a couple of times and use the bucket to cut some down as I was getting a bit of wheel hop. (i do run tire chains) I switched to a similar tire this year on my Branson8050.

Had 2' on the ground then got 3" Tuesday and 3" today. Tomorrow clear. Good thing, I need to clean that 6" up and get the road as wide as I can. New storm starts Saturday afternoon, ends Monday morning. We are close to the "+" sign. Oh boy. Put my plow back on the tractor yesterday. The truck will need some help if they are right.

I hope that picture is incorrect ! Our Monday forecast is still zero after 1-8 for Sat-Sunday.

Spent 3 hours today scraping an 1 1/2" of slush off, then running up and down the driveway for the chains to rough it up.
