I'm going to build a snow pusher with a rubber cutting edge but having never seen one up close I have a question about them. Can anyone tell me about what angle from vertical the cutting edge is? In photos I've looked at it appears they're angled forward about 30 degrees. Does that sound about right?

All a snow pusher is is a glorified snow plow with side boards,

If your going to build your own and have cheap steel good luck as the problem is bracing and the fact that your pushing a continuos amount of snow which will exceed 21 pounds per cubic foot in practice as the snow is being constanly folded in on itself.

If you have watched any of the videos of these crazy things you will see small prime movers constantly raising the pusher to continue thier advance as the weight is so much that that cannot maintain adhesion/traction.

Better to invest in a good Pronovost type 2 snow blower with a rotating impeller drum in my opinion.

Here is a pic of one i made for my CK30, its 66 inches wide and 24 high. I also had a 72 inch reversable snow pusher, makes clean uo real nice and easy.
