Snow Attachments Snow: Rear Blade vs Hydraulic Front Blade

/ Snow: Rear Blade vs Hydraulic Front Blade #31
BP Fick, Gotta love the Kubota front blade. Did it with rear blade on 8N for over 10 years, but I get same job done with front blade in a quarter of the time now. I did mount the old rear blade, but it is more in the way than anything else. Always watching that I dont hit anyting, only reason I have to turn my head. I probably wont even mount the rear blade this winter, only used it once or twice to get to an area to pull snow into the push area. I added hydraulic angle, which was easy, but it does not work in rearward position. Philip.

Turn the blade around and drive backwards. [for smaller driveways] We drive backwards as much as we drive forwards.

for me the cab and the front hydraulic blade works well. If we were having solid large snows every year then, the rear blower would be purchased very quickly and mounted in the winter. I may still get one used, with low miles, I mean hours:D

Kubota B6200 4WD with a back blade is in fact quite tedious, but does work.
