Just finished widening my driveway along with neighbors:thumbsup::thumbsup:, lots of snow and drifts from the 35 to 45 mph winds we had after last snow storm in Galway , N.Y.:mad:.It seemed that I was out pushing snow every three or four days:D, now, myself like most of you do like quality seat time:D but. I sure do miss my snow blower:( that I had on my BX23 TLB. I have no problem pushing with the B3200 and 60" fel and 72" Land Pride back blade, although the banks are getting quite high now. With the snowblower that was not the case.I'm sure that next year I will have another snow blower to add to my attachments.:licking::licking: Oh and maybe another Kubota, humm, I wonder??

I hear ya, I had to mount the loader on after I couldn't plow the piles any further/higher.
A decent used 60" 3pt blower is on my want list.

As far as seat time I was almost ready to say I've had enough, day after day was getting old. But now we've had a break for a week so I'm ready again :)

I like hanging out in the cab of the tractor and getting a little something constructive done as much as the next guy.
However, going out every single day for snow removal is getting a little tiresome. Pretty odd winter for my area. I've had the tractor out more in the last 2 weeks than in the last 3 winters combined.

Heck, I think we got more snow today than we did any of the last three winters. I may be stretching it a little but we sure did get dumped on.

24" last week and now another 15" today... wow this is crazy. I did not realize that last weeks blading would interfere with todays blading. The driveway is getting slimmer. What 3pt snow blower to do all find works the best? Do you back into the snow with them?

The BX23 was a TLB and was a great tractor and did all I needed to do. I wanted a larger size or bigger framed tractor with higher ground clearance so I ordered the B3200 TLB and have had it for 1 year. Great tractor also, more power higher lift on FEL, and is quite the tractor. My dealer told me the B3200 TLB is his best seller and I could see why. One other reason for my change is because I mow about 3 acres of lawn, but have trails into 10 acres of woods. You have to be careful with the hydro fan on the BX's.

I hadn't tried using my FEL for snow removal until this winter and now have new respect for this method. I'd say I can do as well with the loader/rear blade combo as I can with the front blade/rear blade. Not sure if that says I'm getting better at FEL operation or ain't very good with a blade...

I've found that I'm getting better at using the float position and making minute adjustments when trying to scrape down the driveway after a session of snow blowing.
Just a case of practice making (somewhat) perfect.

Provonost makes a good blower from what I hear, and yes..........you hook it on the back and go backwards to use it.

When plowing snow, or using the FEL..........you must always push the snow back as far as possible. Because as you found out, if you don't plan ahead..........Mother Nature will make you wish that you did.
