I use the FEL because things go ahead, and quite quickly, with it. The blower works to move those snowbanks out, though. Blowing snow can't drift over something that's spread over 100' of field downwind of the driveway.
The blade's on the other tractor. I bring it out on nice days when the cab isn't needed.
The drifts today were a job for the blower, though.
There's too much snow on the lakes, as well. It wrecks the ice. Last week two pickup trucks went through the ice on Newboro Lake. Nobody hurt. The trucks are still in the water, too. The recovery company has to wait for better ice before they can get them out.
Normal winters in Leeds County, Ontario, we drive all over the lakes with UTVs and 4X4's. Tomorrow's ice fishing derby and next week's dogsled races are at risk.
