Jay Peak just got a slightly used silver Bombardier. I know one of the operators. I'm supposed to go with him one night and ride shot gun. He one of the more seasoned operators and grooms most of the black diamond trails.
BTW, my sister is at Vail. She is a certified instructor for 5+ years and works teaching the little kids.
Fascinating Jeff, thanks for the pics and info. I took our boys skiing this past Sunday. Our little local place has but one cat and now I can see that it is a Pisten-Bully similar to yours. Do you get to ski free as a perk, or are you tired of the place after a shift?
Derek, just took a look at the Jay Peak website. Looks like a nice mountain. I noticed the snow depths up to 24". I was checking my local resort and the snow depth is almost 200". Of course, everything melts pretty quick here to.
I do get to ski for free, which when the lift tickets out here go for over $75/ day, is quite the deal. I work nights, from 3:30 pm to 2am, and am on for four days, and off for three, which leaves plenty of time to ski.
