I hate to think about it, but I'll be driving home to NH from Virginia later on this morning. :(

You will be driving right with the storm as it heads north! sure you will be ready to plow / blow the stuff tomorrow.

I may divert to Boston, as I have to be there for 8:30AM Wed.
It could be a very long ride.

Yea if you hear the local Boston channels they are trying to compare this to Oswego, NY at least that is how fox network is talking. Lets face it, Boston will maybe get 4 inches and the city will shutdown.

Have a good ride

You guys can bring your tractors up here wednesday if you want to play. Our weathermen here can't determine how much we are going to get. They say between 1 and 2 feet, maybe more. Most of our snow is lake effect to the east and south east of Lake Ontario. We get dumped on every year and I'm only 20 mi. from Oswego. According to my paper today, a map shows Oswego only rec'd 85" in the past 10 days. Mexico came in at 106", Parish at 121", and Redfield got a whopping 141", all in 10 days. The storm tonight and tomorrow is coming from a southeast to northeast direction.

Well, I made it home easily. Southern PA was a little slippery but, after Scranton, it was clear sailing.

Thomas,
It looks like you are going to get dumped on tomorrow up in NH. We are slated for a whopping 2-4", then sleet and rain, perhaps ending with a little icing for good measure. My wife and I were both hoping to get a snow day, she even did the snow dance today (something educators and students are prone to do when the news stations try to throw everyone into a frenzy over the slightest chance of getting some snow!), but it doesn't look like it will happen tomorrow. Oh, and in regards to the bass boat, I won't be making that motion 'till spring (we bought a house on one of the biggest rivers in state 4 years agon and still don't have a boat!), BUT I am trying to wiggle my way into a welder. Happy plowing, be safe!

I finally got my snowblower attached to the L39 today. Boy what a chore....the tractor had its box scraper on there so I had get that off, then the PTO shaft was too long and I had to cut it back a few inches to fit....not fun in 14 degree weather. Once I got it set up I tried it on some drifts in the back...It is awesome to have a blower again. I'm glad I got off my butt and took care of that nagging shaft problem today. We are expecting up to 26" by the end of the night tomorrow. Should be fun!

They gave my wife the day off for Wednesday. I'm going to work at my cushy desk job. I will get the little B7200 out of the shed. She is a good operator, and can play with the tractor during the day. I'll fiinsh when I get home. This will be the first time it moved snow all year. Loaded tires, Chains and 500 Lbs under the loading deck give it enough to push 12" at a wack. This storm may bog it down.

They Friday i'm going skiing.

I was worried about spring sking.
