Snowblower and ck20s? (not hst)

I have a 54" on the rear of my CK20S HST. I use a 60" plow from Michigan Iron on the front. By the time I need to use the blower to widen my lane, I need the slowest speed I can get.

So, consider using the front mounted blade (faster than a blower) to make your initial clearing, and follow with one pass per side with the blower.

I have seen the front mounted blower, but between needing the mid-PTO and the additional bits to mount to the front, it was cheaper to buy the blade from MI and the rear mounted snowblower.

I'm kinda liking the idea of a pull type snow blower, I might see if I can find one at a reasonable price, I like that I can then keep the loader on which is useful for numerous reasons.

Speed is a real factor with a snow blower in deep snow . I have a M5700 ( 50 plus pto hp. ) w/rear blower and had to have creeper gears installed in order to use it with my blower. This gives me 3 ranges w/12 speeds for reverse .It is in creeper mode most all winter when useing the blower . We do get some heavy snow in my area though .

I have a Meteor pull type and really like it. I clear about 1 mile of driveways including mine and a couple of neighbours'. My neck would not be able to handle that with a rear push type. A front mount is also easy on the neck but more expensive and you lose the use of a loader.

As others have said, an HST is great for snow blowing.
