I have a 3-pt snowblower that I can稚 find parts for anymore and the manual chute adjustments are trashed(tree fell on them). I would like to convert it to electric. What would be my best options? ATV winch with cable or chain drive. I got the blower for really cheap and it seems to do ok other then the chute adjustment. Thanks in advance and pics would be great.

I would think atv winch and cable would be easiest and cheapest.

I have a 42" belt drive blower mounted on the front of a Toro garden/yard tractor and because I was going to build a snow cab, the crank for chute adjustment would be inaccessible. I rigged up an electric window motor from a parts van I had (Pontiac Montana). For your application, a stronger DC power motor that is similarly reversible could work. Mine has given me no trouble so far. Good luck with the project. Cheers, NormL
