I found a single stage blower, off a 345, on Ebay. He wanted $750, I offered $500 and he took it. The unit was hardly ever used, as you can tell by looking at the shoes and scraping blade. The problem is it must have been stored outside and the moisture got under the paint. Anyway I scraped of the peeling paint, which was about 60% of the blower, and am planning on sandblasting and professionally repainting the entire unit. I hope after all this work, that it works as good as you say. Thanks and I will post some pics of "before and after".
You can buy a Bercomac 2 stage blower - BERCO Accessoires pour tracteurs de jardin et pelouse, souffleuses pour VTT et VU I believe. I had a 40" 2 stage and thing ran like a charm on an old Poulan Pro I used to have?for the 345 the 44" model is recommended. They also made blowers for JD at one point, and are quality machines. They have them to fit any model. There are also some used ones around. Keep the 345!
