Snowblower on my 2410

Does anyone know if the 2781 (50") and 2782 (60") snowblowers are interchangeable? They both connect to the newer style universal subframe (Quick Hitch Subframe System B2761) that can also support a front blade or sweeper. I want the 60" unit. My dealer says I can only attach the 50" unit to my tractor. a B2410. Coincidentally he has a 50" 2781 unit in stock and but not a 60" 2782.

He said the parts book indicated you couldn't connect the 2782 (60") unit to a 2410. He wasn't really sure why, but he thought the PTO hook up might be different and can not connect to the larger unit.

I tried contacting Kubota, but all I got back was an email indicating they recommend the small unit for the B2410. No explanation.

Do any of you know the answer?

According to the Kubota web site, the 2781 and 2782 are both available for the 7510 and 7610. Since the 7610 is the stripped down version of the 2410, if they tell you a 2781 will work, how could a 2782 not??
They offer a 2650 and 2660 which both use the 3ph lifting mechanism and the 2660 has a 60" cutting width, so there could be little doubt about the pto ability to handle it.

I have a 60" rear blower on my 2410, which is ideal due to the width of the tread, especially if you moved your wheels out, like I did.

Thanks, for bringing up the 7610 relate. I'd looked at that chart half a dozen times and it hadn't clicked. I'll talk to the dealer Monday.

The dealer parts book doesn't show this combo, although as Seymourbota said, the web site and B series brochures show the 2782 works with the B2410. I had a dealer confirm with Kubota engineering that the 2782 would work with the B2410. Kubota also supplied him with the part numbers for the chute, subframe and pto kits.

Your dealer can call Kubota for the part numbers required.

Thanks, good to know someone else has this combination.

Also good to know its not listed in the Kubota parts catalog. I like my dealer. I didn't like thinking he was more concerned with selling his inventory than satisfying my request. I'll push him to contact Kubota.
