Snowblower Sell Now Or Wait Until Fall?

Hi,

I am thinking of selling my Kubota BX 2750 Front Snowblower and a Sims Cab for a BX 2200. I have not used the equipment the last 2 winters since they have been so mild. So should I sell it now or wait until the fall? I do not need the $$ now just wondering when I will have more of a demand??

They have always been kept in the garage. Any idea what a good asking price would be? The blower has a chute motor to move the chute to the left and right. It also has a motor to move the chute up and down, both motors are electric. The cab has a heater off the engine as well as lights front and rear as well as a strobe light. Everything is in good working condition and well maintained, no rust.

First off, why sell just because two winters in a row have been mild how do you know what the next winter will be like? Unless you are moving south or something, I'd keep it if you don't need the money.

If you do decide to sell, I'd definitely wait until late fall. You should be able to command a higher price then.

Decide on the price you want, and put them for sale now. If they don't sell, you'll have a larger market in the fall. Some buyers will act now for peace of mind, others will hold out for a better buy over the summer months.

You KNOW what will happen of course!!
If you sell them then next winter you will be out shoveling every day!!
If you don't sell them then it won't snow at all!

I like being ready for winter early. I,m sure many others do as well.

HEY, I live north of Montreal and drove south past Albany to purchase my blower some 10 tears back, but then the price sure was worth the trip. ($400)

A 'fur piece' from Minnesota though. Would love to have both items for my BX2230, but I just got laid off after 29+ years and more toys just ain't gonna happen yet.

Funny you say that. I bought a 3pt snow blower two winters ago and I haven't been able to even use it yet.
Everyone says "good thing you bought that snow blower" and I just say, "I know right, it's been doing a great job at scaring the snow away". :laughing:
