Snowblower size for an L4400?

Hi just got a new L4400 hst today,I have had a grin from ear to ear since.My question is anyone out there run a 3 pt snowblower on one? The dealer says I can run the 7 foot blower I already own but the manual says 5.5 ft max. The 5.5 foot specd in the book seems very small for a 45 hp tractor but my 7 ft blower seems a little big any ideas Thanks Jason

I would believe your dealer.That tractor should handle the weight OK and with your HST you can just go slower when it's really deep and/or wet.You've already got it-use and don't give it another thought.Congrats on your new ride.

Congrats on your new tractor. As for the rear blower. I had a L2674 Kubota blower put on mine at the time of purchase. That blower is recomended for tractors from 30 to 45 HP. It's 74" wide and worked great on my Grand L 4240. It also have the side drift cutters on it.

With HST you'll be fine with the 7' blower. I've been running a 6'6" blower on my L3710, with great success for the past 10 years.
