I have 19hp at the PTO and my 54in Woods is a perfect Pair.

Here's a vid of me this winter with about 20in on the ground.....

Besides the power requirement, the CK20 would have a difficult time handling a 7' blower. A 7' would weigh around 1,000 pounds. The CK20's 3 point is rated for 1,100 pounds and the tractor weighs about 2,000 pounds. It MAY lift it. But as stated earlier you would have trouble navigating with that weight, much less drag it through wet snow (even with chains). Chances of dragging it uphill are remote. It is unlikely the CK20 could effectively handle a 7' blower even with weights and chains.

Since the CK20 is about 44" wide a 54" (which probably weighs about 350 pounds) would likely be ideal. It would also likely handle a 60" which weighs around 400 pounds. Chains are a good addition if you have packed or icy conditions, or hills.

It is another reason these manufacturers need to offer a solid auger
option for rear and front mounted snow casters.

The solid auger on a single stage unit limits the amount of snow
that can be conveyed and cast away at the same time and
flooding and plugging is a worst case scenario.

If they used the solid auger design used by the Zaugg folks for thier
single stage units on the two stage units these two stage units would
cast the snow much further and not plug and choke.

That's something else to be considered as all snow blowers are not created equal. I like the Zaugg based on the web site but am always hesitant of something I cant see/touch and ponder about in person before purchasing.

First gear in reverse, runnign wide open (no load speed of ~613RPM on the PTO), I stop to let it catch up when the PTO RPM drops below ~370RPM and it isn't letting up.
I have to upload the video my wife took, of me making a sledding path in 12" of settled snow. The tractor can handle 6" of settled snow ok, but past that it gets hairy.

I have no video of our blowers in action but can say I am very pleased with how well the DK40 handles both the old and new blowers. I can make it bog down if I want to but for the most part I am running in Med gear and experiencing very little drops of RPM except in the deepest of the drifts or places where I had blown a lot of snow to while clearing other areas. For the most part I just start and don't let off till I get to the end.
No lightness in the front with either of the 7FT blowers but I do keep the FEL on in the winter as I always have use for it.
I would be interested to watch the video you have when you post it.

Ah, no FEL on our L3830 (the main reason the front gets light with the blower in the air), plans for next winter are to install the front mount kit that came with the blower (a frame and a loooong PTO shaft to run to the rear PTO) and run the blower up front. Should handle it better up there.

Front mount is the way to go. Losing the loader sucks, but a front blower and rear blade is a bang-up combination. You can just go fast. I can blow my 900' driveway and open areas in 1/2hr to 45 minutes. It would take me 1-1.5 hours with my truck/plow. I go as slow as I do due to my very aggressive tire chains causing a bumpy-as-crap ride.

Another option is a pull-type which is cheaper than a front mount and lets you keep the loader.
