snowthrower drive chain on JD455 & 47\" blower

Of course the drive chain on my blower dies today! We just got a foot of snow! And its Sunday!!!

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have had to replace the drive chain? Is this an ordeal for a DIYer? Can you offer me some advice?

If you've replaced one in the past, do you recall the price of a new drive chain?

I took mine apart to lube it this fall. Only had to removed 3 bolts to get at it. Be sure to adjust idler sprocket for proper chain tension. when you put new chain on.
If you have a TSC store close they should have the chain and master links.
As suggested by another TBNer. I am going to drill a hole in the cover that lines up with the chain. Then use this hole to put a few drops of oil on chain after each use.
