So, do I need another PTO shaft?

wow.. a 5' rototiller on a ford 8n.. what a miserable dissapointment that must have been unless he was running in constantly worked fluffy soil like peat or potting soil, or styrofoam beads.. or sugar sand..

I have watched it, great video!! If I do wind up having to buy a new PTO shaft and cut it to fit, I'll be sure to watch it again BEFORE I start cutting on it. :thumbsup:

Maybe the 8N wasn't up to the challenge and that's partly why he decided to sell it? The seller did mention that he used it on some food plots, more than likely these were places that had been disked up before.

yep.. N's have too high of a ground speed to roto till unless they have a rear post tranny like an everette or howard ( sherman won't help )... they disc and plow all day though.

IF I did roto till with an N.. it would be a 4' tiller, and it would be in soil that is constantly worked and turned and already loose... and I'd have my eye out for another tractor every day..
