Tractor
Kubota B2920, Kioto CK3510HB
what you'all think of the price. It's an '06, 200 hours, listed for $22K....with BH, FEL, 60"MMM, and a box blade. I went to Kubota's site and that stuff (w/o BB) would list right near $33K...so I'm thinking this tractor might be a steal. But understand I know a whole lot less about this stuff than you guys do. What think? BTW, the ad goes on to say always stored inside, and the photos make it look to be in excellent condition.

Just priced a B2630 w/FEL for $18K (new) w/o% interest for 60 months...dealer said there is $1000 dealer cash in his price. I have discovered since that the B2630 and B3030 are being replaced in the Kubota lineup...dealer cash is probably to help them sell what they have in stock.

That said...my opinion is that the xx30 model are very nice with many features. Also, a nice size...larger than the BX series but not quite up to the L series.

I think the $22K looks like a good deal...have you seen to check conditionm etc. If clean and maintained well probably a very good deal.

I am sure others with more knowledge will add their thoughts...TMR

BTW...the B3030 is a 4 cyl...the B3200 is said to have a vibration/buzz in the steering wheel...which I experienced when I drove a B3200. Others have said that the B3030 does NOT have the vibration/buzz in the wheel...I would want to drive it and check as when I drove the B2630 (3 cyl) it had NO vibration but the B 3030 did have vibration (as claimed here on TBN).

Let us know what you find when you go see the 3030...good luck TMR

Sounds like a very good deal. Especially with only 200 hours.

I purchased a B3030 w/ MMM, Kubota Hoe and front end loader, rear tires loaded, and R-4 tires in 2007 New, (0)hrs and paid $25000.00 there was also 0% at that time but for 36 months. Great tractor, mower not what I though it should be, doesn't mow that good, skips??? Put up with it for 4 years, this year I purchased a ZD326,what a mowing machine. The B3030 mower has been retired.

Have a friend who found a slightly used B3030 (200 hours) full cab with a/c and heat, front snow blower, FEL, quick attach forks with bulkhead, rear rake, rear finish mower for 22,500. That sure seemed like an excellent find also. It's like new.

he just brought it home.

Are you not satisfied with your 2620?
Or you just saw this ad, and was curious.
Inquiring minds want to know.:D

A deal is only a deal if it fills your needs. You've told us all about the tractor and implements, but not about your land or intended uses. Sort of hard to give targeted feedback without the whole picture. It's a very light tractor and if you have rocks in your soil using that BH is going to toss you around a bit. Ditto with the box blade. I've hooked stones on my land that stopped my L4640 dead in its tracks; the little B3030 wouldn't stand a chance. I'm impressed by the power of the FEL on this little unit, but the tractor is far more tippy than the Grande L and so I'm really careful with that bucket loader.

No matter how good the price, a tractor undersized for your conditions and usage is no deal.

Not at all, but I'm always looking for good buys. I do wish now I had went for the larger tractor, at the time I thought I was getting the largest tractor I could deal with on my property, but now see the larger frame could be useful. But the main reason for not getting a 3030 was the MMM (and the 4 cyl vibration), I wanted a floating deck. This year I added a 60" ZT to the tools, so I could get a tractor and not use it for mowing. My thoughts on this are that if this is a steal, i could upgrade and sell mine to cover the costs. But after seeing that someone bought a new one for $25K I'm wondering if this is that good a deal...this one is a year older than the one the other poster mentioned.

Thanks, but in the case, that isn't the input I'm after so I skipped those details ( do agree about the undersized tractor, tho'). I have the B2920 for my current use (14 acres, 500' drive with snow, that kind of thing) and find it pretty much well suited for my use. When I saw this ad I thought it was a real steal offering me a chance to upgrade on the cheap....I'm now questioning that. I now believe it represents a good buy, but not the bargain I first thought. Even so, having position control and some of the other deluxe features, along with an small increase in FEL capacity appeals to me. BTW, please understand I don't mean for this to sound ungrateful (though I suspect it does) for the reply, I value all the input around here.

Not at all, Fred. I just wanted to raise some points you hadn't addressed and that should be considered before a major purchase lest a fellow tractor rider find him/herself disappointed with a unit that doesn't match their dreams.

Sounds like you have had that inner conversation already. Carry on.
