Many chain sets fit more than one tire size, especially when you combine Ag/Ind/and some turfs - they can cross over a few sizes. now the flip side, is they don't fit all those sizes quite the same. I have Duo grips on my R4s from Tirechains.com, and the rears fit perfect, but the fronts really need another cross-link or something to fill out the pattern better. There is a substantial gap between chains at the end of the chains. I should figure out how to add a cross-link for next year.

I got stuck in similar fashion last year in my driveway. Front tire got off the driveway while blowing snow. I could not get out with differential braking, shoveling, sanding, diff lock, bucket-- I tried everything. Had to call a wrecker to pull me out.

Now I have tire chains on the rear and it has made a huge difference.

I went with a set of 2 link ladder chains from tirechain.com for my 15x19.5 tires on the TC-29.
They are a bit more expensive than 4 link but give a very smooth ride.

I know, being a little stuck is like being a "little pregnant" right?

You obviously were not stuck, just temporarily unable to go in the direction of choice. Stuck is when you have to have another vehicle to pull you out. Obviously you need to learn to use the steering brakes on your tractor. That is why they have them just for such occasions and would have been no problem at all to turn the tractor back up on the pavement by using them.

I know, being a little stuck is like being a "little pregnant" right?

I got my right side front down over the side of the driveway while snow blowing (rear mounted). I felt the front slide right, and when I tried to go forward with the wheels turned left, it just plowed straight forward further down into my ditch even with the wheels cut. We got an inch and a half of ice last week, and 10 inches of snow last night so we've been busy.

In retrospect, I probably should have tried some differential braking to get it out but I never thought of that. I flailed around with the bucket for awhile and eventually a combination of the bucket and a lot of sand got me out.

So, I tried to do my research like everyone says on the forum, but it would seem the tire chains that people seem to like from tirechains.com (duo-grip) are not made for my tire size (15-19.5) Industrial Tires. I have 25X8.50-14s on the front.

I'm wondering what my next best option would be?

If you get out on your own, you weren't stuck. At least not the way i think.

Yep, I agree, that is why my machine is unstuckable! http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...t/160568-compact-telehandler.html#post3526054

I don't know why NH puts steering brakes on their HST models. There's no way I can use mine without sitting side-saddle, and *that* would leave my clutch pedal unattended. Suggestions welcome.

I don't know about your NH, but on the Kubota you can use the cruise control if the brakes are unpinned to set forward motion and use your right foot for split brake operation. I don't know if that will work on your NH or not though. And it only works when going forward, you cannot split brake in reverse. My kioti has the brakes on the left, and no clutch. so it is pretty easy to split brake. The PTO is electric/hydraulic so there is no other need for a clutch.
