I've heard the Milwakee is slowly succuming to the trend of poorer quality like everyone else, but I think they they are the best bet right now. I had to buy a 9" recently and was not disappointed.

Wish I had some action photos, but I'm not sure I have enough talent to do it with the 4 1/2; no chance on this thing!
Variable speed would be a neat feature if it came with the grinder, but in the case of grinders, I don't think it is required (now Sawzalls [IMHO, Milwaukee Super Sawzall is the only reciprocating saw] are a different case /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ).
