Very nice work guys! Sometimes its a curse to be able to build things for the family, but secretly we enjoy it 
So the wife wanted a garden/potting bench...

Well Charlz - I have a new appreciation for your handy work. I've finished my SO's potting bench sort of like the published plans. Not completely, but close.
I did cut dado's for every joint. Glued and screwed every board. The shelves were made with 2x6's. I had to buy 2 extra 2x6's and didn't need the 8 2x4's. IMHO, stronger and cheaper, although the word 'cheap' shouldn't be included in any way for this project. That Hog Pen-Panel for the back was outrageous - $26 just for that.
The handle bars for the end weren't necessary. I used roller ball bearing casters on the legs to move it around easy. That kept the height right for my 5'2" SO and was cheaper than casters. SO didn't want it painted, which would have looked better in my opinion, but wanted it to get that weathered look.
Here's the end product:
And here it is on the Pump House porch:

senecak19 that 'tiger striping' is certainly a different/interesting effect. Pretty solidly built with that size lumber it should server you well!
Gem99ultra I see your SO got her project moved to the top of the list That price for hogwire seems pretty high, I swear the last time I saw an ad for it a 16' panel was more like $18.... maybe not.. or maybe it has just been a while since I saw a price on it. I hadn't thought about putting wire on the bottom but then where ours sits it is up against a raised bed so nothing can fall out anyway. I see you used fence staples. I had considered that but was afraid it might split the wood or eventually work loose so I wanted a way to use screws hence the clips.
