I'll chime also, I have a Branson 47HP with a BH I also had
this same BH on a 38 HP Branson
Same tractors other than Horse Power.
So the output was the same for Hydro pressure...?
Anyway no their not big machines, but twith some practice
they can do a lot.
2in roots.... some are tuffer than others.
I find it's nice to have a saw-zaw handy..maybe a generator
if ya have one?
Big roots are no match for a saw-saz with a good blade /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I found for more power you need to curel and pull at the same time.
Also I bump my RPM's up to 1500rpm's ARE YOU DOING THIS?
I have done all sorts of things with mine, like moving RXR ties
big tree stumps, was doin a beaver dam on a daily thing /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Mine has no problem gettin a full bucket of hard packed dirt..18in bucket.
I also just got a 9in bucket for sewer and water lines.
Long story short.... mine has OK power but more is always better.
It's also my understanding there is more power to be had
but it maybe very unsafe to do!
And yes mine is on a sub-frame, off in 2 mins 4-6 mins back on.
Money well spent for me, I use it all the time.
It will do a lot more than dig holes, in time you'll find this out also /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I would never attempt to dig a big pound with a 18in bucket and low reach.
Good luck and have fun....stay safe!
