with none of the Kioti pricing on their websites and not even any new dealer inventory of what they have on hand.

Add to that the open at 8 and close at 5 which happens to be when I work.

I guess I mail order it or something.

Kioti dealers can be also called by phone for pricing.

They went off the radar this morning at the local dealer here when I learned the NX45 is the smallest cab tractor they have with air conditioning. Sticking with the cab because there are hornets nested in the woods and sticking with AC for summers temps.

Sometimes it seems that nobody wants to sell anything. I was originally going to buy a John Deere, but the models I looked at had "floppy" fenders on it like a 4wheeler. A mechanic in the shop was a guy I hadn't seen since high school came out and talked with me a while. He advised me not to buy any of the recent models because they were having engine troubles. That was enough for me. Then I stopped at the Case dealership. The salesman there said that I'd have to go to their store in another town to see and buy a compact tractor....90 miles away. I didn't even give it a second thought. I got to thinking that I used to work for the owner of the Kubota dealership, at a car dealership that he also owned. He made arrangements for me to meet his brother at the tractor dealership the next day. I showed up on time but the brother called, said it was too pretty to go to work and he went fishing. Well I went to see the owner. He called the brother's son to meet me the next day. Nephew had not showed up after I had waited 3 hours. Went back to the owner, he said he would make sure either his brother or nephew would be their the next day. They weren't. The salesmen at the tractor dealership weren't allowed to sell Kubotas, only the large tractor trucks that they had. Went straight to the Mahindra dealer. Noticed some GM parts on it. Called the parts dept manager at the car dealership. He said he could get those parts. Said they were "GM Asia" and it would take 6 weeks to get them. At this point I had just about made up my mind to keep the old Cub. Then I remembered the tractor dealership down the highway south of town. I went there. Had both of my sons with me. We went into that dealership. The parts lady fell in love with my boys, took them around to the coke machine and bought us a round of drinks while she paged Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson asked me what all I would be doing with a tractor. I told him. We went out into the yard and he put me on a 35 HP tractor, 2wd, nothing fancy. We went back to his office and one hour later I was the owner of a new tractor. Driving home, I realized I had seen plenty of those tractors working for the parish and the state. The next morning, my brand new, shiny New Holland TC 35 was delivered!
All the other "salesmen" I dealt with must have been on salary and not commission! They must have had their bills paid up and their next check in the bank!
Good luck with your new purchase and be treated well with your sales experience!

My Father & I were tractor shopping about this time last year. Once we narrowed the field and started test driving; he didn't want to go anywhere without me and I'm in the same boat as you. I work 0700-1600 M-F and all the "local" tractor dealerships are an hour or better drive time away from my office so no lunch runs & after work was out.

I did the bulk of our shopping & pricing by phone. I talked to dealers in TN, WV, NC, as well as the closer to home guys. Got my best price quote over the phone on a Friday, Drove down to see it on Saturday (it was still in the crate so we test drove a slightly smaller unit) negotiated an even lower price that included Filled tires and delivery over 100 mi away.

It actually saved us from extra running around looking at stuff that ended up being out of our budget range.

As for pricing - I'm sure I'll have to eat these parts of my words but.. I don't recall anyone having prices on their web site. *MAYBE* MSRP which is about one step away from useless but that's it.

I'm guessing that is beyond what you're looking for either in size or price (or both). Did you ask the dealer about the option of a smaller cab unit (without A/C) and having them install an aftermarket A/C unit?

If you decide to put Kioti back on the list, PM me and I'll give you the info for the dealer we went with. He's closer to you than us (by google maps anyway) as was super easy to work with.

Good Luck in your search.

If you were tractor shopping in WI . . I'd have a dealer option for you.

They sell Kubota and Massey Ferguson and they have each of their models either outside on the lot or inside (about 10 kubota midels and about 7 Massey ones inside).

They are open till 7 at night during the week and all day Saturday till 5 and noon till 5 on Sundays.

Welcome to the world of tractor dealers, it hasn't caught up to the 21st century yet. Saturday is your best bet, or calling. I have the benefit of a really flexible work schedule, but even then, it came down to one Saturday. I was driving around looking at guns and tractors, and the Kioti dealer was the only one giving me the time of day (well I really liked the Kubota dealer, but the tractor options just weren't there.). Also, some dealers are open late a few days a week. But, if they don't want to sell tractors, move on. We're not all farmers.

Wow! Their hours are great! And I bet they stay busy in the sales, parts, and service departments too!

That dealer is the one I chose to get my Massey from. Its the kind of place you can take your wife to and everything is clean and big (selection, knowledge, brand choices).

I drove 125 miles each way tp see them first . . family owned and operated business since 1912. Biggest dealer facilities I've ever seen. And they price to move product and they service to keep it.

They also carry Ferris and Simplicity and Toro and 1 more. Again . . All the models and all inside and clean.

The wife wants to go with me when we do the 50 hr. Service. Everything I described is just 30% if the retail operation. And then there's another whole big building for the manufacturing and fabricatibg side of things.
