Soft shell turtles, problems

My father in law would take a turtle over fish any time, I helped him clean them, but never got to eat any.

Make sure your not breaking any laws. Most states have regulations and seasons on turtles. In Wisconsin if you get caught taking game out off season or without permit they will confiscate guns, fishing equipment and even your vehicle.
