Well just to keep ya'll up to date i used my subsoiler and made a bunch of passes about 3ft apart in a n/s e/w direction (made a grid) I'm getting pump sand delivered to day 100yds to start and i plan to use my box blade to drag and mix it with the existing soil. My wife, and i don't blame her, didn't want to spend the money on a tiller when i'm prob never going to use it again.
on the pump sand, man that stuff is like gold. The best price i could find was $12.75 a yrd. what have the rest of ya'll been paying. i can get NICE clay for $7 a yrd. and thats what i plan to top it with.
