Solar/battery farm gate openers

I'm looking at installing some automatic gates and I was wondering if you went with Chamberlain and if so, how are the openers working for you?

I just started looking at openers so I don't really know what's available. This would be for two driveways that I would be looking at putting openers on. One gate would get used 2-4 times a day while the other opener might get used once a week.

I was thinking of going with MM as both Northern Tool and TSC, which are close by, sell them.

I have installed 5 Chamberlains so far and they're pretty good. I did them all this summer, so I don't know what the results will be when the snow starts piling up. For your useage & location, the standard Chamberlain battery box with the dry cell batteries would be fine. I'm in a colder climate with more frequent useage.
You need to have pretty much full sun where the solar panel will be placed or go to the DC low voltage model. I actually like the DC low volt model if you have an outlet fairly close to the gate.
If you have any type of vandalism or big animals like steer, go with heavy steel box and marine battery or with Apollo gate opener (comes with steel box & big battery). The Chamberlain plastice box is weathertight, but could be destroyed in short order with a framing hammer.
I ordered my gate openers from Gatecrafters and found their support staff to be really helpful. They carry all the major brands, but didn't recommend MM
