OP ... No do not use Low voltage landscaping wire. You're asking for trouble. The voltage of the fencer is measured in thousands of volts. Low voltage landscaping lights are all of 12 volts.
I use the Zareba wire or equivalent in 3/4 or 1/2 inch black poly water pipe. The Fencer wire is okay to put in the ground, but it can fail and short your fence to ground. The poly pipe is cheap and by making a 4 inch slit in the end, then folding it over itself and the wire, makes for a neat termination. If the wire needs replacing it's easy to pull a new wire using the old. In 19 years, I have NOT had to replace the wire. :thumbsup:
